With Care.bike, you will have all your bikes and their information in one place. Photos, frame and other key component serial numbers, user manuals and documents such as purchase receipts, warranty cards or insurance contracts. Everything safely and clearly in one place.
Care.bike PASS is the bike's digital passport — it is created upon registration and every registered bike gets one for free. Photos, bike name, serial numbers, warranty validity, service history and owner information, all clearly in one place. With the paid Care.bike PASS+ tier you can export the passport to PDF and use it, for example, when selling the bike.
A security sticker made of a very durable material, which makes it hard to remove and gives it a long lifespan. It acts as passive protection for the bike. It contains a unique QR code with a Care.bike ID for easy identification of the bike and its owner. For example, when receiving the bike for service in the Care.bike partner network.
Even when a stolen bike is found, it is often not easy to find its true owner. The public stolen bikes register increases the chance of finding and returning the bike and helps prevent fraud when buying second-hand. In case of theft, you can add the bike to the register very easily. Just mark it as stolen in your Care.bike account.
For each of your bikes, you can record all performed services and service tasks in the digital service book. Services performed by Care.bike service partners are recorded automatically. In your account, you also have an archive of all service work orders with all details. With Care.bike, you have the entire service history of the bike from its purchase throughout its entire lifespan.

The shop or workshop created it when it sold or repaired your bike. The passport holds the bike’s details, serial number, warranty and service records.
Complete the registration from the invitation e-mail. You’ll then find the bike in the Care.bike app or in the company’s customer zone.
The passport is yours, not the shop’s. The history stays when you change workshops or sell the bike, and you can book any workshop in the network.
For partners with Local Care, workshops in the network assemble the bike from the box, do the warranty check and handle claims.
How much does Care.bike cost?
Registering a bike, its passport and service book are free. PASS+ is a one-off payment per bike; service and insurance are priced individually.
Who owns the bike’s data?
You, as the owner. Shops and workshops write into the passport, but it stays with you even if you change workshops.
What if I sell the bike?
Transfer ownership to the new owner in the app and the passport goes with the bike.
Do I need a Care.bike TAG?
No, you can register a bike without one. The TAG’s QR code identifies the bike quickly, and you get it free with PASS+.
Why did I get an e-mail from Care.bike?
A shop or workshop created an account and a bike passport for you. Just complete the registration from the e-mail and you’ll find the bike in the app.
