Care.bike Service Map

Be seen when cyclists look for a workshop nearby

Join the public Service Map by Care.bike. Cyclists book a service with you from the web or the app based on your offer and free capacity. Joining costs nothing; you only pay for completed orders.

We teach cyclists how to look after their bikes properly, and that regular workshop visits extend a bike’s lifespan. We are working to make Care.bike seen as a service partner for cyclists, and we promote the offer of connected workshops.

Cyclists search for a workshop by location and by what they need fixed. Our ambition is the widest overview of workshops and their services, so they find you too, without any marketing of your own.

Customers only see days when you have free capacity. You decide how much of it you offer in the Service Map.

The offer narrows to the services you provide. The customer sees whether you can handle everything they need.

You pay nothing for joining or for an order. The commission is charged only when the job is completed.

1

Joining

You activate your offer in the portal once the required items are done. The setup wizard helps you – you can be finished in 15 minutes. Your profile is created immediately and you appear in the Service Map.

2

Booking

The cyclist chooses from workshops nearby based on the services offered and free capacity. They book a day when you have capacity, and you confirm, reschedule or decline the order.

3

Order and commission

You manage the job in the Care.bike portal like any other. The customer can follow its status. The commission is settled only when the job is completed.

Search by location, bike type, e-bike motor, suspension, brakes or “open now”.

Photos, services, opening hours, price list, reviews and a “Send a message” form.

The map shows when you are open, incl. special hours (holidays etc.).

Once the service is completed, the customer receives a request for a rating. The review appears on your profile and you can respond to it.

After the job, the customer has the bike, its history and the recommended next service in the app, and can come back to you next time.

Workshops in the Service Map can also join the Local Care partner service network and receive orders from e-shops, manufacturers, rental companies and other businesses – pre-sale service and handover of new bikes, warranty inspections or claims handling.

How much does joining cost?

Joining costs nothing. The commission is settled only after orders from the Service Map are completed, based on their value.

Do I need a paid plan to be added to the map?

No. All companies using Care.bike can join the Service Map, starting with the free Start plan.

What do I need for my workshop to appear on the map?

Service terms and a privacy policy, a published price list, opening hours, services, an introduction, a photo, contact details and an address verified to the house number. You prepare the terms from templates and the price list from the Care.bike catalogue, and the portal shows what is still missing.

Where can I find the detailed terms?

The detailed terms for joining the Service Map are in the Service Map terms.

Can I decline a booking I can't handle?

Yes. You confirm the booking, suggest another date or decline it. You also decide how much of your capacity you offer in the Service Map.

What is the difference between the Service Map and the Local Care network?

Any workshop that is interested can join the Service Map. In the Service Map, cyclists book the service and pay the workshop directly. Joining the Local Care service network requires meeting certain terms and standards, which we verify. Companies order services there, and the work is settled through Care.bike.
